As the conference draws near, we write to update you on the fantastic event we have been in the process of planning for you.

We're happy to announce that the early bird registration period for the 2008 Association for Cultural Studies Crossroads Conference at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, continues till May 15, 2008. Register for the conference with an early bird discount rate at www.cultstud.org now!! Please help us build the ACS assistance fund, as well as saving money yourself, by registering early for a wonderful conference. Normal registration for the conference will commence on May 16, 2008.

The conference website - www.crossroads2008.org - has been updated with details about presenters of individual papers (listed alphabetically by first name at the 'presenters' link) as well as approved panels. We will be updating it soon with a draft conference programme. Please check the website to make sure your data is complete and correct. Send us any updates for your panels and papers to the conference email (crossroads_20089aca4aca1yahoo.com) as soon as possible in order to make the deadline for the publishing of the abstract book.
